1/4 Cup Old Fashioned Oats, uncooked
1/2 Cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 Tbsp. shredded coconut
1 Tbsp. dark chocolate chips (or any type of chocolate you prefer)
1 Tbsp. slivered almonds
Cook oats according to directions on container, using almond milk instead of water. Once done, transfer to bowl and top with remaining ingredients. You can eat as is, or stir to melt chocolate into oatmeal.
Note: I have also made this using water in place of almond milk and adding 1/4 scoop vanilla protein powder. Tastes the same either way. No need to sweeten, as the chocolate and coconut bring enough flavor.
